Classes for 2 years old to Adults
CHILDREN'S SUNDAY
SCHOOL

Education Building Parsonage
Children learn about God's grace and the love of Jesus Christ for them.
Classes for 2 year olds to 6th grade are
using a new curriculum from
Augsburg Fortress this year called SPARK! Bible stories and
Christian faith basics are taught in fun, interactive ways! SPARK
helps children learn why faith is important in their lives!
Confirmation Classes
7th and 8th graders use the "Here We Stand" curriculum from Augsburg. Lessons include Power Point presentations, small group discussions, skits, and The Lutheran Handbook. Topics discussed will include The Apostle's Creed, The Ten Commandments, and The Old Testament.
High School Classes
Faith Lens is a weekly Bible study and discussion for youth, linking current news stories to scripture. This curriculum is a resource of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
9:30-10:30
Parsonage- Main Street
Rainbow Class:
An in-depth look at scripture passages and their
meaning.
Prism Class: Topical series on matters of faith
based upon the interests of class members.
Faith Journeys: Beliefs that are basic to the
Christian faith and to Lutherans.
Other Opportunities for Spiritual Growth
Holy Grounds: In-depth
study of the Bible that explores the context,
historical meaning, current understandings and interpretations, and
the "why" of scripture. Meets Thursday mornings at 9:30 am in the
church parlor and open to anyone who wants to learn more through
reading and discussion!
Small Groups: Adult groups who meet once a month on
various days and times. A variety of Bible study topics. 8-10 people
per group.
