Lent at Grace:
Forgiveness

Ash Wednesday ~ March 6

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season and helps Christians prepare for Easter by turning their hearts toward God. Grace has two services:

JOIN OUR NOON SERVICE in the All-Purpose Room (lower level of church – room 1). This service begins with sharing a light lunch together (provided) and a brief service that includes the imposition of ashes and the sacrament of Holy Communion.

JOIN US AT 7:00PM in the sanctuary to receive ashes and Holy Communion with a fuller, sung service.

Or, join us for both! 😀

Wednesdays in Lent

6:30-8:00pm in the Social Hall

“Forgiveness” is the 2019 theme for Wednesday evenings during Lent, beginning March 13th. Our discussions will be based on The Book of Forgiving by Desmond Tutu and Mpho Tutu.

Our meal will begin each week at 6:30pm in the Social Hall ($5 donation per person suggested, $15 per family), with devotions at 7:00, followed by the study on forgiveness. It is not necessary to read the book, but you may appreciate the stories and deeper engagement in doing so (click the link above to order from Amazon).

Youth Activities
During these discussions, preschoolers through high school students are invited to explore how we can “Serve Like Jesus”. Each week Kelsey will lead hands on service projects to benefit our community and teach us why service is a great way to share God’s love! Note; High school students and adults, please see Kelsey if you’re interested in leading a service project during Wednesday Night Lent!
Lenten Devotional

Each year, 40 of your friends at Grace reflect upon a piece of scripture to bring you a Lenten devotional written in plainspeak, straight from the heart, by everyday people just like you.
