Worship at Grace

Worship brings together all who are seeking an experience of God’s love and grace. We ask and receive forgiveness; we hear God’s Word in word and song; we are blessed by the gift of Christ’s body and blood in the sacrament of Holy Communion; we are sent to bless the world! Come join us to be inspired and transformed!
We offer two unique worship services on Sunday mornings! Holy Communion is celebrated at each service every week. We welcome all who are worshiping with us to participate and simply ask that you realize Lutherans believe that Christ is here and by worshiping with Him, we receive forgiveness of our sins. Children are welcomed and encouraged to come forward, with their parents, to receive a blessing. If you are unable to come forward, please notify an usher and we will come to your pew to administer communion. We also have Gluten/Dairy free wafers. Please ask the Pastor for one, if you have these dietary restrictions.
Come check them out to see how your heart is touched and moved.
Children are welcome in all of our worship services!
If you’d like, your kids may go to Tot spot while parents attend 8:00 or 10:45 worship services. Tot Spot is lovingly & skillfully supervised by Mrs. Ellen Jones.  Children ages 5 and under may join us in room E08 of the Education Building.
(Held in room E08 of the Education Building during 8:00 and 10:45 worship for children 5 and under)
Monthly Healing Service Grace offers a monthly service of healing for those who desire a quiet, reflective space for healing, restoration, and community. Deacon Allison Wilcox will lead the service, which will take place on the first Tuesday evening of each month at 7:00 pm, in the Sanctuary.
This worship service is open to those who are seeking comfort or even simply peaceful respite from a chaotic world.

8:00 AM
Start your week with a traditional liturgy that brings the power and beauty of ritual to our lives today. Our chancel choir leads us in hymns that you might remember and love (and want to sing along to!) This warm and friendly service helps us to remember that we belong to God.
(Held in the main sanctuary at 6th Avenue & Main Street)
This fall, FaithFul Families (formerly held at 9AM) will no longer run. Most of our families with kids 5 and under are attending either 8am or 10:45am service. FaithFul Families ran for 13 years and was a great program to get kids engaged in a worship at their level. We’re thankful that at our regular services, we’re welcoming to kids (& their inquisitive minds) of all ages, as we worship God together. Please note, as FaithFul Families is removed, we’ll be continuing to be intentional, to work on ways to engage kids in both our services. See Kelsey or Pastor Krais if you have any  thoughts/ideas.
10:45 AM
Join us for an uplifting service of praising God led by the Spirit of Grace praise band. All children are invited to come forward for the children’s message and those between kindergarten and 2nd grade may visit Children’s Church during the sermon for fun, faith-based activities. This vibrant service celebrates the wonderfully engaging (and sometimes surprising!) work of the Holy Spirit!
(Held in the main sanctuary at 6th Avenue & Main Street)
Children’s Church is for children in
KG – 2nd grade during the 10:45 worship service & is run by volunteers who do stories, games & crafts during the lessons and sermon time. Interested children go with the volunteer waiting in the Narthex, after the children’s sermon and return to parents in the sanctuary, during the prayers.
(Children in kindergarten to second grade may meet the volunteer leader in the Narthex after the children’s sermon)
If you are visiting Grace for the first time, please take a WELCOME BAG on the table near the main front doors. Also, please be sure to fill out the “Sharing God’s Grace” insert in the Ledger and place it in the offering plate. We hope the worship service helps you to know & experience God’s amazing grace! Please come again soon.
Some large-print copies of the worship service are  available for the visually impaired. You can find them on the Narthex windowsill.
